Personally...
We have both experienced deep, life-altering challenges and profound transformations throughout our lives. We've done inner work, and continue to do this work, to make peace with the experiences that made us who we are.
Meagan
Having recently turned 40, I feel like I've already lived at least three lives—10 years in the chaos of active addiction, the steady rebuild of recovery, and the raw, soul-shifting chapter that began when my marriage ended, my father passed away, and I discovered breathwork. I’ve been sober for over a decade, and the path of healing has shaped every part of who I am. My academic background in psychology, sociology, and ethics helps me understand human behavior, but it’s my lived experiences that allow me to meet people with real empathy and openness. I’ve walked the 12-Step path and believe so much resonates beyond addiction, and some needs to be reimagined. Through Think Act Persist, I help others break cycles, reconnect with their inner wisdom, and move forward with clarity, courage, and compassion.

Roz
At 63 years old I've reinvented myself a few times in my life. I've been married twice, divorced once. Mother of 2 grown children and stepmother to 4. When the whole family gets together along with all of their significant others, it is an instant party. In 2015 my husband Jeff and I bought a ranch in central North Carolina. Carolina Morning Stables. We own and board horses and I offer Equine Assisted Coaching, Team building, and Leadership Development through my business Flying Changes Coach. I also lead EquineFlow coaching certifications, and I've been practicing and teaching yoga for almost 30 years. Yoga keeps me sane, the horses help keep me grounded, and the ranch keeps me connected to the land and the natural world. I bring to this program a “been there, done that” wisdom, compassion, curiosity, and understanding of what it takes to undergo and drive major life change. I incorporate the tools of my coaching practice, add some neuroscience to help you understand behavior, include the pragmatism of the business world, a bit of horse sense, and spice things up with the wisdom of yoga & somatic practice. All of this is to help you fully embody the changes that you will undergo throughout the program. Prior to developing this program with Meagan, I developed and ran a program I called “Realign.” My segments in this program take the best elements of Realign and incorporate additional somatic and breathwork practices that I have developed since creating Realign.

Why TAP?
After going through the AA 12-step program, Meagan recognized the profound power of the process, not just for those in recovery, but for anyone ready to break patterns and step into a fuller version of themselves. It became her life's mission to share that wisdom and community with others.
Roz

Roz worked as a Management Consultant, developing strategy and leading large-scale transformations for corporations and government organizations for most of her career. Roz left her corporate job to focus on coaching and leadership programs.
Qualifications
MBA, EquineFlow Level 2 certified coach, E-RYT certified yoga teacher, Prosci Certified Change manager, certified breathwork facilitator. Trauma informed and trauma aware. She has also been practicing and teaching yoga, meditation, and breathwork for 27+ years.
Individual Pursuits

Why TAP?
The concept of Think. Act. Persist. appealed to Roz as a coach and to her Change Management side. Every well-managed change starts with a planning phase, proceeds through an execution phase, and is followed up with consistent reinforcement. TAP and the 12 Steps fit nicely within that model.

Our 12 Step Outlook & Experience
We have shared experience with 12-step programs, though from different sides.
Meagan
Meagan sees the 12 Steps as a powerful tool for self-inquiry, one that, when used effectively, helps individuals examine their lives, identify meaningful changes, and cultivate integrity in their relationships and daily actions. However, she believes the program as written often provokes shame and fails to fully account for the experiences of women. Meagan envisions a more heart-centered, self-reflective, and accepting approach—one that empowers individuals to grow beyond the program itself. While community is a valuable aspect of recovery, she has seen too many people shift their dependence from addiction to the program rather than fully transforming. Through Think Act Persist, she and Roz guide participants through a process that fosters true independence, ensuring they don’t just recover but fully reclaim their lives.

Roz
Roz is also no stranger to the AA program. As a teenager Roz took part in Al-A-Teen due to a non-recovering alcoholic father. As an adult, she supported her stepson as he went through the 12-steps for an opioid addiction. (As of the writing of this, he is 5 years sober and succeeding in life!) Importantly, Roz looks at the 12-steps through a different lens: one that is more inclusive of all spiritual beliefs, one that helps you build your personal power rather than turning it over, and one that focuses more on understanding and making peace with the past rather than it being a source of guilt or shame. Roz’ invitation to you is to view this entire program with an open mind, take the pieces that resonate with you, and leave behind those that simply do not fit.

Our Style
Content is delivered with humor and authenticity to ease the heavy work. And the work is heavy. (We know, we’ve done it.) We speak our truths and invite you to do the same in a judgment-free space.

We are committed
To providing a holistic approach to personal transformation. We blend breathwork, somatic practices, neuroscience, and the wisdom of the 12 Steps to empower women to rewrite their patterns, reclaim their power, and create the life they truly desire.
We value
-
Authenticity: We are willing to speak the truth about who we are, even when that truth is hard.
-
Compassion: We hold compassion for ourselves and others as they find their truths.
-
Connection: We create community and connection. TAP is a “third place” where people can come home to their authentic selves.
